Dow futures trade higher, Nike gains 8% after earnings

Investing.com – Stock futures were slightly higher Thursday evening, following a marginally positive session for major benchmark averages.

By 7:00pm ET (11:00pm GMT) and were up by 0.2% while added 0.1%.

In extended deals, Nike Inc (NYSE:) lifted 8% after the company EPS of $0.94 versus $0.75 expected on revenues of $12.94 billion versus $13.02 billion expected.

Vail Resorts Inc (NYSE:) was 0.3% lower after losses of $3.35 per share versus expected losses of $3.32 per share, while revenues came in at $269.77 million versus $282.92 million expected.

Ahead in Friday’s trade, market participants will be monitoring data, , personal and , , Michigan consumer and as well as a speech from .

During Thursday’s regular session, the added 116.1 points or 0.4% to 33,666.4, the lifted 25.2 points or 0.6% to 4,299.7 and the gained 108.4 points or 0.8% to 13,201.3.3.

On the data front, and came in below expectations while data came in at 2.1%, in-line with estimates and unchanged from the previous quarter.

On the bond markets, yields eased from recent 16-year highs to 4.579%.
